Kelsey and Caleb off to Y Nationals

On Wednesday April 3 the YMCA Short Course National Championship Meet begins, and two of our swimmers will be there. Both Kelsey Elliot and Caleb Treadwell will be competing in the 50 yard Freestyle, which occurs on day one of the competition. They will also be swimming in a number of time trials as the week unfolds.

Their participation in the Y Nationals Short Course Championship continues the revitalized  tradition of the Stingers sending swimmers to Nationals. This years participation in the short course meet represents a doubling of the number of swimmers we are sending down to Greensboro. And we have high hopes for participation in the long course meet coming up  in July.

More info about the short course meet is online here: http://www.ymcaswimminganddiving.org/displaypage.asp?Cat=2013SC

The meet will be live streamed. As soon as that link is available we’ll post it here.
